Sleeping arrangements.

When we bought the house we now live in, Mikhail was our only child and we really had no plans for having anymore kids in the near future, so a house with 2 bedrooms up and 1 in the basement seem ample enough for our small family.  Well 3 kids later, we had to turn our office into a bedroom so Mikhail could have his own room while the other two boys share.  We also decided to save our cousin from living in a group home by taking him in to live with us as a Foster kid.  This moved Mikhail in with his 2 brothers so our new ‘son’ could have his own room.  (The basement bedroom is earmarked for our international students).

The boys all get along great so it is not a big issue with room sharing.  The biggest issue is sleeping and nap time.  They seem to think it is a time for playing instead of sleeping.  Plus Mikhail and Kenyan share the same bed.  Today, I put a down payment on a bunk bed which should help with the sleeping issues.  (I wanted to bring it home today but apparently it has to be ordered and takes up to 3 weeks, hence the down payment).  Never having or sleeping in a bunk bed before, I am a bit excited to have it here.  Just the boy in me…
