A day at the farm

wpid-20140529_111517.jpgYesterday I took the day off from work to accompany Trey on his pre-school’s farm trip.  It was a great day to be out of the office and outdoors.  It was nice and cool in the morning but warmed up just as our trip was winding down. Trey was fine during the pre-lunch activities.  After lunch, the kids went horseback riding then went to see the donkeys and that’s when Treyton started sneezing.  He couldn’t stop rubbing his eyes and probably sneezed 20 times in quick succession.

His teachers seeing him in obvious distress, tried her best to track down some allergy medications but unfortunately, nothing was found. No one thought to bring any to the farm.  I splashed his face with water and hoped for the best.

In the end, we had to cut short our animal visits and sat in the school bus waiting for the trip to come to an end.   Being the only occupants in the bus, the driver let him sit in his seat and showed him the controls.
